Your humor is a breath of fresh air. Even though I am married, I can definitely relate. I am still waiting for a backrub with "no strings attached"
Keep up the good work!

Reply:
Your clever response made me laugh. The only way to get a no strings attached backrub might be to go to a spa. Of course, they expect money!

What a "fun" read. I'm not single but I can still attest to the fact that many compliments from the opposite sex still seem to come with an agenda. At my age, I choose to accept the compliment for what it is and usually have a good laugh over it. Love your sense of humor!

Reply:
Your are correct. I accept all compliments (even those that make me laugh) It doesn't matter if we are single or married, we can all relate.

Colleen Tuohy's subtle wit makes her article, "In Search of a Sincere Compliment," a joy to read and left me wanting to read more. This fleeting view of a woman's quest provided a realistic, yet delightful, aspect of life seen by many single women. Beautifully done!

Really enjoyed this well-written, entertaining article. Such a perfect denouement. Recently I gave some thought to the demise of the compliment, sincere or otherwise. Maybe I've just lost the ability to attract them, but they seem scarce as hens' teeth any more.
Thanks for brightening my day.
