Loved the article. I am 56 and I wanted to send the young gentlemen to stand in a corner. Maybe its because I raised three boys. But, you know some men and women never grow up. Keep up the great stories. Signed, Born mature..

My date must not have had a good mother to make him stand in the corner. Bravo for raising three boys.

For a date with a fine lady, he has no class. He will needs some grooming. Send him back into the river.
Reply:
You are right! I'm looking for the man already groomed which is harder with the "younger ones." It's a chance a cougar takes. In case you were wondering, I got to keep the cup!

Colleen: Whoever introduced you to this guy was playing a joke on you!
Reply:
I hate to admit it but I met him all on my own. My friends did influence me to "go for it." The good news was that I got a funny story out of the date. I didn't see the humor at the time but it certainly came later.

I'm glad you appreciate your "old phart" proving once again that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

I'm not quite a Cougar as yet but I can surely understand where this writer is coming from. Romance and companionship goes a lot further than physical attraction. If a young man has no clue on romance and courtesy then he's useless to most older women that requires a certain level of taste.

You comment is well said.

The reason men can date younger, is because they're dating their maturity level! It's harder for women to date younger, men are so immature anyway. (And I mean that in the nicest way.) I LOVED this article. It made me laugh with memories of my own attempt to date younger.

I enjoyed Colleen's article... it was very funny but also further affirmation... men sometimes really don't have a clue.

And they say blonde's are clueless.

I'm with her. The older man with the comb over sounded like a better plan.

Colleen you are hilarious! You definitely have a book here! But to write it, you will have to keep dating Trevor, or others of his ilk. Can you take one for the team? (I think I can speak for many readers when I say you had me at the "sculpted, rock-hard body"). As a ghostwriter (14 books so far) I just love how you write...keep it up! And if you want to be one of my ghostwriters (I have so much business, I could use help from other talented writers) give me a holler. My website is www.katzcreative.com Thanks again for this hilarious...and honest...article. It's both fun, and instructive! Judy Katz New York City

I'm always willing to "take one for the team." Dating gives me plenty of material. I have a book written about dating experiences and I'm in the process of sending it out. I do love men. The nice men are great dates and the others give me lots of writing material. Thanks for you upbeat comments.
